Video microsites made possible with new video sharing technology from Zeop, Inc.

TUCSON, Ariz. (June 28, 2007) - Webmasters can now easily and quickly launch topic-specific video sharing websites, thanks to new technology from Zeop, Inc. The company announced its Zeop Media Engine today, a web server software product that turns any Microsoft web server into one or more video sharing community websites supporting video uploading, conversion, web-based playback, user ratings, comments and many other community features.

The technology was designed to allow individuals and organizations to host their own videos or launch video sharing sites without having to use popular video services such as YouTube or Google Video. With Zeop, webmasters gain total control over the video resolution, compression and content. Videos can be reviewed, accepted, rejected, voted on and commented on using any web browser. Playback supports all popular browsers on both PC and Mac. The built-in video conversion and compression engine support conversion of over 100 video types, including all common video codecs used in portable consumer electronics: mobile phones, webcams, video cameras, and more.

Zeop is positioned as a web-based video hosting and sharing solution for any organization that could benefit from video content: online retailers, political candidates, distance learning organizations, enthusiast sites, non-profits, entertainment sites, sports sites, news sites and many others. Any organization that wishes to communicate through a video medium while avoiding the cluttered pop-culture sites like YouTube will find the Zeop Media Engine to be a welcome alternative.

"Zeop enables people to launch their own video sharing websites even if they have very little technical knowledge," said Mike Adams, co-founder of Zeop, Inc. "All they need is a web server, bandwidth and storage space. The Zeop software does the rest, creating an instant video sharing community that end users find to be very familiar and easy to use."

Zeop users are also able to generate revenue streams with their video hosting sites by placing their own banner ads above and beside the videos during playback. Zeop gives webmasters wide-ranging control over the cosmetics of the website, so they can alter the logos, header graphics, HTML code blocks, footers and much more. "Each webmaster can customize their own video sharing site to their own preferences," said Adams. Videos can even be watermarked with the webmaster's logo or URL.

Zeop software licenses start at $495 plus $195 / year for a 500-video capacity system. Higher capacities are also available that support up to 100,000 videos at a time. For more information, visit www.Zeop.com or call (307) 587-2594.
